How Long does Rubber Installation take?

Most residential installations take 6–8 hours to complete.

Larger or more detailed projects may require multiple days, depending on:

  • Surface condition

  • Project size

  • Weather conditions

We’ll always provide a clear timeline before starting your project.

How long do I have to wait to walk on the project?

You must wait 48 hours before walking on your new rubber surface.

This allows the material to fully cure under normal, dry weather conditions. Cooler temperatures or high humidity may extend curing time slightly.

A flat, structurally sound base is recommended. Surface preparation may be required before installation.

What do the weather conditions need to be for installation?

For best results, installation should take place in:

  • Temperatures above 20°C

  • Dry conditions​

  • Sunny weather preferred

Proper weather ensures optimal curing and long-term durability

How long does rubber last?

When properly installed and maintained, poured rubber surfacing can last 20–30 years.

It is designed to withstand:

  • Harsh Canadian winters

  • Freeze-thaw cycles

  • UV exposure

  • Heavy foot traffic

Is poured rubber good for Canadian winters?

Yes. Our rubber systems are designed to handle:

No. Poured rubber is naturally slip-resistant, even when wet, making it ideal for:

Very little maintenance is required.

We recommend:

  • Occasional rinsing with water

  • Light pressure washing if needed

  • Avoiding sharp objects that may puncture the surface
